Daniel graduated from Cornell University with a B.A. in Biology – Neurobiology and Behavior and a minor in Business for the Life Sciences in May 2020. During his time as an upperclassman, he helped conduct translational orthopaedic research in the Andarawis-Puri Lab characterizing acute tendon injuries in transgenic mice. Daniel is passionate about the intersection of medicine, research, and business, as well as increasing the number of black physicians in the US healthcare system. He hopes to pursue a career as a practicing physician and entrepreneurs. He eventually plans to build a medical center in his family’s home country of Haiti. During his spare time, Daniel enjoys songwriting and singing, playing the piano, spending time with family, and trying new restaurants.
