Alessandra SetaroResearch Assistant/Associate
Alessandra joined the Seaman Lab in August 2018, and is currently a Research Assistant II. Alessandra graduated from Boston University in 2018 with her B.A. in Biology, and a minor in Public Health. During her undergraduate studies, she utilized immunohistochemistry to research maternal serotonin pathways in the placenta with the Kliman Lab at Yale School of Medicine. In the Seaman Lab, Alessandra processes specimens from human clinical trials and performs neutralizing antibody assays. She acts as the general lab supply ordering coordinator, and is the laboratory point person to manage the preparation and delivery of reagents required by the clinics for the collection of mucosal samples.
