Dalia Cabrera Barragan

Dalia received her BSc. in Biotechnology Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey (ITESM) in 2022. In her senior year, she completed a research stay at Harvard Medical School, focused on Organ Regeneration and Tissue Engineering. Dalia joined Dr. Barouch’s laboratory in February 2023. She is currently part of the protein team. There, she focuses on the production and purification of HIV and COVID envelope constructs and evaluates the immunogenicity of various vaccine candidates. Outside of doing research, Dalia enjoys spending time exploring new museums, attending musical performances, and hiking when the Boston weather doesn’t make her freeze.
