Fadi Ghantous
Fadi graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2014 with a B.S. in Microbiology. He joined the Seaman lab a couple of months later, and is currently a Research Assistant III. His main responsibilities include the processing of specimens from human clinical trials, i.e. testing candidate vaccines against HIV‐1, as well as the setup of neutralizing antibody assays. Fadi is also involved in a long- term collaboration project with the Bing Chen lab, involving the structure of the membrane proximal external region of HIV-1 envelope glycoprotein, and the structural basis for membrane anchoring of HIV-1 envelope spike.
