Jenny Ahn

Jenny received her B.S in Microbiology, Immunology, and Molecular Genetics from the University of California Los Angeles in 2019. She conducted her undergraduate research under Dr. Jeffrey H. Miller, focusing on DNA mutagenesis in the gut microbiome, looking specifically at mutational synergies and suppression systems. Prior to joining the Tab lab, she worked in the Dr. George M. Church lab, working on the 57-codon genome engineering project, focusing on synthetic genome integration and gnome analysis. As a research assistant in the Tan lab, she is working to help develop viral assays to study the interaction between human polyomavirus and NK cell immune response. Jenny plans to pursue a PhD in virology or microbiology.
