Kannon Lee

Kannon received her B.S. in Human Biology, Health, and Society (HBHS) from Cornell University in 2021. During her undergraduate career she was a teaching assistant for a STEM program that aimed to get kids from backgrounds underrepresented in STEM fields excited about these fields, and also tutored those incarcerated at Cayuga Correctional Facility seeking a college degree. Kannon discovered her interest in research through conducting her own qualitative research study during her time in Ithaca where she analyzed the role that one’s environment has on their eating behaviors. Kannon is passionate about disparities in health and working to close the existing barriers impacting one’s access to health care. Kannon plans to pursue a dental degree where she hopes to provide accessible and affordable dental care for all. In her free time, Kannon enjoys running, cycling, and spending time with family and friends.
