Kunza AhmadResearch Assistant/Associate
Kunza attended Boston University where she obtained her Bachelors of Science in Health Science. Afterwards, she obtained her Masters of Science from Tufts in Infectious Disease and Global Health, where she grew interested in how the immune system functions to protect our bodies from viral infections. More specifically, she is interested in the mechanisms in which cytotoxic T-cells clear viral infections. In the Barouch lab she is able to work on clinical applications of T-cell function and explore other domains of immunology. Outside of the lab she likes to garden, spend time outdoors, and hang out with her cat.
