Rika Yahashiri

Rika is a rising senior at Williams College planning to graduate in the spring of 2025 with a major in Biology and concentration in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. At Williams, Rika is a varsity swimmer on the Williams Swim and Dive team, a chemistry TA, and is planning to write a thesis with the Bowman biochemistry lab. The past summers, Rika has worked as a research assistant in the Hart lab (drug resistant mutations) at Williams College and the Petersen lab (infectious diseases) at the University of Iowa. In the future, Rika is hoping to pursue a medical degree. She is excited to learn more about clinical research this summer with the Stephenson team and CVVR. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends, trying new foods, and hiking.
