Mazuba is a senior at Harvard College studying Human Developmental and Regenerative Biology with a minor in Global Health. He is interested in studying the HIV cellular reservoir and has conducted related work at the Africa Health Research Institute in Durban, South Africa prior to joining the Barouch lab. He joined the Barouch lab in the fall of 2019 where he is currently working on his senior thesis project which involves the characterization of CD4+ Tissue Resident Memory T cells as an HIV cellular reservoir. In his free time, Mazuba enjoys playing soccer, volleyball, and chess.​
