Jost Laboratory

Principal Investigator:

Dr. Stephanie Jost is a research scientist with expertise in virology and cellular immunology. Her work has focused primarily on characterizing innate immune responses to human viral infections, with a specific interest in natural killer (NK) cells. Her laboratory is currently addressing whether human NK cells are endowed with antigenic specificity and immunological memory to viruses, and how interactions between NK cells and other immune cells modulate the development of virus-specific adaptive immune responses. The primary goal of those studies is to provide the rationale to develop novel approaches aiming at harnessing NK cell function to enhance the efficacy of future vaccines.
